I have always been a seeker. As a child I was fascinated by ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome and their pantheons. Later, in my teens and early twenties, with the oriental systems, particularly buddhism and daoism and with the martial arts. But I found nothing solid in those early forays. Information was sparse, tuition scarce and the internet still in its infancy.

In 1999, at the age of 26, I enrolled on a course entitled ‘Awakening Your Light Body’ with UK teacher Lita de Alberdi. This work, developed in the US by Orin and Daben, I found to be profoundly transformative, here was something that actually worked. Thus began my journey proper.

As a Light Body graduate I continued to take courses with Lita at The School of the Living Light in Somerset and after a number of years was invited to join the Inner School. From there the work took on a much more esoteric approach incorporating the teachings of Theosophy and Thelema and the techniques of Alice A. Bailey, Aleister Crowley and Israel Regardie. Lita continued to be my teacher until her passing in 2018.
I have become well read over the years and consider myself to have a good grounding in buddhism, daoism, theosophy, magic(k), mysticism, Qabalah, shamanism and more. It should be clear to anyone who delves even remotely into these subjects, without having done a fraction of the work, that there is much more to human existence than conventional wisdom would have us believe.
