The above quote from The Mystical & Magical System of the A∴A∴ is about as precise and concise a statement on spiritual growth, consciousness and the human condition (or perhaps predicament) as one could ever hope to encounter. Initiation is indeed a reality and to this I can personally attest.
Within these pages it is my intention to point the sincere seeker towards resources (books, articles, meditations, methods, etc.) that I myself have found useful, if not essential, along my journey of spiritual unfoldment.
Much of what has been written anent the spiritual path, the ancient wisdom, the Secret Doctrine – or whatever you wish to call it – since the late 1800s to the mid 1900s has, in the last few decades, been made available to public scrutiny. It is not my intention to duplicate here any of these writings/resources but to simply refer the reader to them via links and resource pages. Where I feel that I can elaborate on a subject or provide additional information or useful comment I will do so by dedicating individual posts to the material. Where deeper investigation/discussion is warranted this will be provided within the members area.
In addition to the members area there is to be an inner sanctum where I will provide teachings on the various systems of unfoldment that I have encountered/experienced as well as discuss correlations between them, particularly regarding initiation.
In all systems of religion is to be found a system of Initiation, which may be defined as the process by which a [person] comes to learn that unknown Crown. Though none can communicate either the knowledge or the power to achieve this, which we may call The Great Work, it is yet possible for initiates to guide others.
